Sunvoyeur is a melodic rock band from Helsinki, Finland, blending classic hard-rock energy with the weight and precision of traditional heavy metal. Their sound combines memorable melodies, powerful guitar riffs, dark and atmospheric undertones, and a touch of psychedelic and progressive rock. Moving between hazy, spacious passages and direct, hard-driving songs, Sunvoyeur aims to create melodic rock music with unmistakable stoner vibes.
The band was founded in 2023 by guitarist Tony and drummer Marco, with second guitarist Niki joining soon after. After experimenting with different lineups and developing their compositions, Aava joined in 2024 and began writing lyrics for the songs, giving the band’s creativity a new boost. The lineup was completed in 2025 when Mikko joined as bassist.
With the full lineup finally in place, Sunvoyeur began rehearsing in earnest and shaped their first live set. Since then, the band has already played multiple successful shows. With every performance, they have grown tighter and more confident, refining their sound and building a stronger connection with the audience. Their live shows continue to gain energy, power and momentum as Sunvoyeur brings its melodic, psychedelic and riff-driven sound to the stage.
